Props to Selena Gomez who released a new single this week titled 'The Heart Wants What It Wants'. The emotional song had everyone in tears including Sel G herself. In the video (that was filmed over a year ago) Gomez broke down in tears with other scenes showing a confusing of sorts relationship, Selena admitted the song was about ex Justin Bieber and even had a heart felt monologue at the start saying stuff like 'I know him tho, and i know his heart and I know what he wouldn't do to hurt me' and 'but you make me feel like its my fault....I was in pain'

We've all been there it's hard to walk away from something that used to be so good.

I don’t love you like you want me to.

One of my favorites this week is VÉRITÉ’s song Strange Enough.

I'm in love with VÉRITÉ’s music because its so different and fresh compared to a lot of the bubblegum cliche songs blocking the charts at the moment.

                         

The song is about everything changing and yet we all still cling to the love we once had, it's about loving the idea of what the person use to be but understanding you don't the person they are now. This song is so relate able, I have it on repeat.

The Reason For The Heartbreak

I really enjoyed my last blog about my favorite song, so I decided to do that again.

This weeks song is Heartbreak by the Nashville rock band Dinner and a Suit. I first heard this song in an trailer for Chicago P.D and used Shazam to find it. I personally love the acoustic version of the song however the original has an amazing vibe to it as well.

My favorite song this week Change by Banks (every time I type it Google asks me if I wanna change my banks). I first heard this song when one of my favorite actresses shared it. I immediately loved the song, It sounds quite different to my usual music and when I played it to my friend she said she thought it was just noise but the messages in the lyrics are really meaningful.

The song is about a girl who is and relationship with a guy  who doesn't really love her, but she really loves him. Whenever she gains the ability to leave, he begs her to stay, promising that he’ll change. He gives her several reasons throughout the song why he’s acting this way so that she she can’t blame it on him.

Halloween Bucket List

Mwahahhahaha (failed attempt at a scary laugh)

Yes it's official we are 2 days into October or what I like to call the Halloween season.

October is all about the rules being broken, you can dress up and not be judged or as one of my friends put it girls can dress up as sluts and not be judged. Another thing is the strangers can give you candy without causing mayhem.

Everything about Halloween is so exciting to me I could literally spend hours in the ASDA Halloween isle.

Here is a my bucket list for Halloween:

1. Spend a day Halloween shopping for stuff I don't need.

2. Buy a pumpkin.

3. Watch Hocus Pocus.

4. Play a scary prank on my friends.

5. Read some horror stories.

6. Go to Broadditch Farm (A Halloween farm full of scary things)

7. Have a scary movie sleepover.

8. Handout sweets to children.

9. Have fun buying a costume.

10. Carve the Pumpkin.

11. Listen to Halloween music like Time-warp and Thriller.

12. Watch all the Scream Movies in one night.

13. Dress Up.

14. Go trick or treating - Might be a bit old though.

15. Buy sweets to give out.

16. Go to a Halloween party.

17. Watch your favorite shows Halloween special.

18. Eat some weird Halloween treats, that probably cherry aid called blood. 

19. Go to London dungeons and if you don't have a scary attraction near you go to a graveyard (weirdo)

Only Joking

20. Collect money for UNICEF.

21. Buy thousands of pumpkin lattes.

22. Make loads of memories.

Here are some things that didn't make the list that I saw other people say and were to funny not to share...

1.Open the door dressed as a giant fish. Immediately collapse, and don't move or say anything until the trick-or-treaters go away. 

2. When you answer the door, hold up one candybar, throw it out into the street, and yell, "Crawl for it!" 

3. Answer the door with a mouthful of M & M's and several half-eaten candy bars in your hands. Act surprised, and close the door. Open it again in a few seconds, and insist that you don't have any candy. 

Autumn Tag ♥

Favorite thing about Autumn?Wrapping up warm with new coats,scars and hats, and the change in the atmosphere because  everyone is excited for upcoming events like Halloween, Fireworks Night {if your from the U.K}, Thanksgiving {if your from the U.S or Canada} and CHRISTMAS!

Favorite drink?

Ooh that's hard. I have quite a few I really love the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. I also love the Gingerbread Latte and the Hazelnut Latte from Costa. Or any Hot Chocolate because lets face it who doesn't love hot chocolate!

Favorite scent?

My favorite scent is of course a Yankee Candle called Paradise Spice - its so nice {I wish you could smell it} It's a mix of vanilla, cinnamon and bananas which I hate but love in this candle. Another sent I love is the new Ghostly Treats candle from the Halloween range, it smells like toasted marshmallows. Mhmmmm. 

Best lipstick?

I love wearing a dark lipstick in the autumn. My favorite is Calvin Klein lipstick in the shade Fusion. Its a lovely dark purpley {not a word, I know} and pink colour.

Go to moisturizer?

I use the Clean&Clear's Dual Treatment Moisturizer for my face because it helps prevent spots and stop my skin from being dry.

Go to colors for the eyes?

I'm a huge fan of neutral but I have been experimenting with fun colours, so i'm excited to get back to them. My go to neutral palette is the Benefit World Famous Neutrals - Most Glamorous Nudes Ever.

Favorite band/singer to listen to?

In the autumn I love listening to Jana Kramer, If you don't know here she is an amazing country singer and for some reason I love to listen her in the autumn. 

Favorite outfit to wear?

My a nice fitted jumper with a collar coming out, with plain leggings, boots, a Parker, cozy scarf and a hat - either a beanie or a floppy hat. 

Autumn Treat?

Mhmm I don't really have autumn treats but I'd probably say Hot Chocolate or Apple pie.

Favorite place to be?

Bluewater, I love to be at the shops, looking for more stuff I don't need and getting a hot chocolate with the girls. The shops are the best in Autumn because everything that is coming in is Halloween themed or Christmas themed.

Top 5 TV Shows Returning This Fall

Yes, it's Autumn, it's time to get back into are old routines and put the sunscreen away. As we get back into the working routine, Our telly routine returns two and I'm gonna tell you 5 amazing shows that are returning to the little screen this fall.


5. The Mindy Project

The number 5 spot on are list is non other then the hilarious romantic comedy show The Mindy Project. The heart warming show returns with its third season September 16th in the U.S and is bound to follow in other countries later on. If your'e a fan of the show I know you can't wait to see Mindy and Danny's relationship bloom (wtf did I say bloom?) and all are favorite weirdos from work will be right along side them. This definitely one to watch with the girls (or boys, whatever floats your boat).

4. Wolfblood

Now I know many of you haven't heard of Wolfblood but this hit TV-Show has taken children TV by storm. Unlike most kids TV with a clearly fake set and an everyone must smile, Wolfblood is a refreshing show that not only kids but adults watch, after the tear jerking final last year, Wolfblood returns to our screen September 15th on the CBBC channel in the UK. With Maddy gone, Rhydian must get over his heartbreak, continue his last year at school without the wild wolfblood pack causing problem buts that never gonna happen is it.

3. Chicago P.D

The spin off from Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D will return for another series this fall. The season will continue to follow Sergeant Voight and Intelligence Unit as they continue to protect Chicago. Now characters have been established I can't wait to see the characters grow both in their personal and professional life's. Chicago P.D will return September 24th.

2. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D

I know you still all picking up your jaws from the last season but Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D will return to are screens this fall with a brand new explosive season. You can guarantee it to be full of jaw dropping moments and heartbreak. The new season picks up a few months after the finale, and now that hydra is out the team must continue to protect the earth while trying to re-build S.H.I.E.L.D. Lets face it were in for a long bumpy ride. S.H.I.E.L.D returns 23rd of September.


1. The Vampire Diaries

It has to be the most anticipated show of the fall. Yes the vampires are back for a season 6 and after the heartbreaking finale, that no one will ever get over, we are all ready waiting in our seats for this new season. With the big question Bamon? hanging over our head the season 6 could not come sooner. We can't wait to see what misfortune these vamps get up especially since Alaric is back.

Season 6 starts October 2nd.
