Teen Choice Awards 2014 - Fashion Review

 The Teen Choice Awards one of the most exciting event of the summer for teens, with everyone's favourite celebs under one roof  its's the most anticipated teen event of the year. I love the tca I vote every year and I get so excited to see what everyone is wearing. The trends of the night were metallic heels and deep v-neck lines and when I think of the teen choice awards and what to wear it should be something fun and summery, so lets see what everyone was wearing.

Ariana Grande

The stunning singer looked gorgeous in a summery white mini dress and nude heel, she kept it simple and looked stunning.

Cher Lloyd

Feisty Cher looked hot in black shorts and a sheer leather top.

 Chelsea Kane

The Baby Daddy actress went for plain black tank top and a below the knee skirt with red flowers on but come on Chelsea where is your teen spirit, show a little skin.

Ciara Bravo

Ciara looked great in a simple orange skater dress with nude heels, just proof that less is more.

Janel Parrish

The Pretty Little Liars villain was one of my favourite looks of the event, she looked like a Disney princess in a jade satin bra-let and a blue maxi skirt.

Laura Marano

I originally didn't like Laura's outfit the clash of yellow and green was not my thing but It actually grew on me and think the Disney starlet looked great in a cute summer outfit.

Zendaya

Zendaya rocked the carpet in a custom made Material Girl dress, she may not have been may favourite look of the night but she did rock her new haircut.

Italia Ricci

Italia was one of my favourite looks of the night, she looked amazing in metallic heels and a tribal printed jumpsuit with a deep-v she was dead on trend this event.

Vanessa Marano

She attend the event with her sister but they definitely went for different looks, she had a cropped navy top with a floral skirt, I think a look was slight dark but perfect for the event.

Demi Lovato

Demi had one of the biggest performances of the night and she didnt let us down in the fashion department in the off-white dress with cream accents and metalic heels, she looked very classy, come on Demi show us your fun side.

Emily Osment

She is far from her Hannah Montana days now she went for a very summery look in a white body con dress with a colour pop of orange in her shoes, love it.

Hilary Duff

She is back! It's been awhile since we've seen Hilary on the carpet but with a new single coming out Tuesday she came back to the carpet with a bang, in a leather pencil skirt and  red flowered crop top, she sure brought it.

Jennifer Lopez

For 45 she had more teen spirit the most, the star looked amazing in a teal lace dress with matching teal shoes, another favourite of mine.

 Kim Kardashian

Wait a second, Is it me or are we looking at a picture of Kim from like 3 years ago. No this was last night a Kim looked great she had a black long sleeved crop top and a fun zebra skirt that was perfect for the event.

Kylie Jenner

The young reality star, celebrated her birthday at the awards, and went for a classic Kylie look in a crop top and a wrapped print skirt with strappy heels ,now she did look gorgeous but come on Kylie your turning 17 have fun.

Lucy Hale

Lucy went for a bright red satin mini dress and studded heels, now the heels are gorgeous but that v-neck looks a bit too far. Love Lucy anyway.

Nina Dobrev

The sexy vamp looked stunning and matched the blue colour theme with a pop colour of pink in a matching short and top set ,with pink pointed heels. I think she looked summery and fun, that's what the tca are all about after all.

Selena Gomez

The Ultimate Choice Award winner looked amazing in all black, she showed off her stunning sugar and had metallic pointed shoes, Selena had always looked amazing at the tca but for the last two years she has looked more mature and I do love to see the fun side of Selena.

Shay Mitchell

Another star wearing metallic heels, Shay looked hot in this two piece white lace set, she kept it simple. Definitely another favourite look of mine.

Bella Thorne

Ermm....I love Bella and the blue really went with the colour theme, now her dress was gorgeous but that V was a little two deep, other then that her retro dress looked amazing.

 Debby Ryan

She barley looks like her old character Bailey from the Suite Life On Deck, she went for a very formal look and it suited her well, it maybe didn't fit with the fun teen look of the awards but she stilled look great.

Hailee Steinfield

The beautiful 17 teen year old wore a black and pink collar dress with cute black heels and I would have liked to see Hailee wear something a bit more fun but she looked good anyway.

Kendall Jenner

The model looked dazzling in a all white she wore a cowl neck draped top over high waisted tailored pants. Kendall looked like she was at the Oscar, but this is teen awards, have a little fun but I have to say Kendall looked gorgeous.

Lea Michele

Now that's more like it! Lea looked lovely in this colour splash mini dress with silver heels, she kept it plain and showed everyone how the teen choice awards is done.

Sarah Hyland

Not only did she attend but she co-hosted the event and looked spectacular in this dark metallic mini dress and strappy heels. She was another celeb rocking the deep v.

Victoria Justice

Covered up in this white crochet summery dress and looked elegant with silver heels, we would have liked to see her show some more skin but she looked superb anyway.

Now I couldn't talk about everyone but I can't leave out the boys, 

they do get it easier then the girls so where did some of you do wrong. (You know who you are *cough*)

Top 10 Love Songs

As a teenager I don't think I know exactly what a love is, actually that is a lie I know what love is I just haven't fully felt it yet, I know most teenagers think they have felt and then look back years later and realise they haven't felt anything but that doesn't mean we cant love a good love song, now when you see my picks you will probably think 'What the hell! Where the classic where are the amazing songs that you dance to at your wedding' well I'm sorry , I'm a weird person and I'm all about the lyrics not how the song sounds. Just a note that these aren't songs you find in the top 10 or by big popular artist not that all these artist aren't amazing and you may think that they're are thousands of better love songs but this is my opinion as a teenager and I wanted to share them with you.

10. It Only Rains In L.A by Scouting For Girls

Now I know this does not sound like a typical love song, or love song at all for that matter but this song is abut a girl and boy that fall in love (well obviously) but the boys fall in love with her a little but more an is going to propose, so he is at home and she comes in all excited because she has a job in L.A and all his dreams are crushes so all he can think to say is 'It only rains in L.A'. If you wanna know what happens to the girl and the boy you will have to listen.

9. Endlessly by The Cab

Is such a cute song about life not being easy and not being able to give the girl of your dreams the whole world but as long as you have each other you will be okay. The Cab is one of my favourite bands, you should definitely check them out the style of song changes.

8. Wherever You Are by 5 Seconds Of Summer

So at the moment 5SOS are big but this song is one of there earlier songs before they had hit number ones and its one of my favourites. Now its not exactly a love song because it is about a relationship ending because long distant can't work. So it basically tells the classic story of that couple saying goodbye at the airport.

If you don't know James Morrison where have you been this is classic love song, I originally heard about this song from the book Always You by Kirsty Moseley which is an amazing romance book but that's for another blog ,another time! However 'You Make It Real' is the couples song and it's so adorable.

Know I heard this song in a fan video for a ship and I loved it. I know looking at the words sad song makes it seem like a depressing song but its actually about how without the other person your just a sad song a bit like when you loose someone you listen to sad songs.

Top 5 On The Go Beauty Products This Week

I'll be honest my 'on the go' beauty products change a lot, I'm always trying to new things and adding them into my handbag, this could go on until I'm carrying Santa's sack, seriously it gets bad, but today I have picked the top 5 products from my bag to share with you all.

1. Essence 'all about sunrise' eye-shadow palette.

So the first thing I have been loving this week is the 'all about sunrise' palette from essence. Now I had never heard of essence up until last week when it came to where I live and when I the essence stand I was immediately drawn to the eye-shadow palettes. Omg they had so many beautiful colours I wanted to buy so many but seeing as I had never used them I only bought one. I picked the 'all about sunrise' palette because the orange and gold tones that could go great with my blue eyes, but don't panic if you don't have blue eyes they have so many more amazing eye-shadows and palettes.  Onto the product itself, now the photos definitely don't do the shadows justice, they are so pigmented and beautiful shades, now in this palette they are all shimmer shadows, so that is something you should know if your the kinda girl who likes to where mattes, the one things I don't enjoy is that one they don't very long maybe 5-6 hours with a primer, which is why they are an on the go product because I like t take them with me, I also carry brush and mirror with me because the palette does not include that, but honestly I only paid £3.49 for this palette and it is so worth the money the colours are beautiful. 

2.  Soap&Glory - Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick 'Nudist'

So if you don't know about this then where have you been! I have seen so many people rave about this product and when I heard about it, it really didn't appeal to me but I was given it in a gift set and it quickly became one of my most loved items, I carry it everywhere. Now I have it in the shade 'Nudist' ,I love this shade, its natural and looks great with a tan so in summer its perfect! The gloss stick comes into 4 other shades Bashful, Fuchsia Ristic, Plum Jam and Raplumzel which to be honest all look great with a tan! The gloss stick is perfect for school when you don't want to wear a heavy lipstick or a sticky lip gloss, It's doesn't leave your lips dry or leave them sticky. Now this gloss stick is £8, some may say that's not worth it for a gloss but this is honestly a best buy, I would recommended it to everyone and you should definitely go grab yourself one for summer!

3. Estee Lauder - Double Wear Concealer & Pure Colour Lip Gloss Duo

Now this product unfortunately only come when you buy an Estee Lauder foundation but you can buy them both separately. However if you do buy a foundation be sure to pick one up because its definitely help full to have two in one. 
Now the concealer is the Double Wear Stay-In-Place in shade 02 Light Medium and it's great for cover dark circles, covering blemishes and spots. It also comes in shades to suit almost every skin tone. The concealer is slightly pricey at £21.50 but if your looking for a splurge and a light weight, good coverage concealer this is it. 
Now the Lip Gloss is the Pure Colour Gloss in the shade 27 Pink Kiss this gloss is a shimmer, so don't buy if you don't like a bit of sparkle. In my opinion this lip gloss is beautiful, its perfect for a night out with a heavy eye make up or a beautiful up-do. Now the lip gloss is slightly pricey at £18.50 but is a great buy for special occasions and comes in 18 beautiful shades.

4. Benetton B United Jeans Woman Eau de Toilette 30ml

Now I got this for my birthday and I am honestly in love with it, it's great for on the go perfume it's small and great the throw in my bag. Now I've looked around and the price ranges from £2.99 and to £12 so be careful where you buy it from. Now talking about the perfume, it smells great, I wish we had a smell button, I've had so many compliments on this perfume, online it is described as  described as a fresh and floral perfume, opening with top notes of tangerine, basil, redcurrant, vine peach ,fusing of jasmine, cyclamen, narcissus and hyacinth, finally a smooth base of sandalwood, grey amber and musk. This perfume is great for all occasions, so its a perfect handbag essential.

5. Soap&Glory Hand Maid Gel

I don't know if I technically would call this a beauty product but it's definitely an amazing 'on the go' product. I always like to carry a hand sanitizer and hand cream with me, it might be weird but they always come in handy, now nearly every girl I know has the Soap&Glory Hand Food however I'm not madly obsessed with it, I see better results with other hand creams, this made me very weary to buy the hand sanitizer but I know this was a great purchase, because not only
is it pink, which I love, I mean what girl wouldn't.
It also has the most amazing smell which is described as fresh, fruity and floral, I believe it gets the smell from the grapefruit extracts.
                                                                    

It is slight more watery then other hand sanitizers

which can be a pain and it does leave a strong anti bacterial taste on your hands, and I know I said taste which is very weird but I couldn't think of a better word, if you place your hands near your mouth or eyes you need to definitely wait at least an hour. Other than that for £2.50 this is the perfect buy for an 'on the go' must have because not only does it keep your hands clean but it also great moisturising qualities.
