Teen Choice Awards 2014 - Fashion Review

 The Teen Choice Awards one of the most exciting event of the summer for teens, with everyone's favourite celebs under one roof  its's the most anticipated teen event of the year. I love the tca I vote every year and I get so excited to see what everyone is wearing. The trends of the night were metallic heels and deep v-neck lines and when I think of the teen choice awards and what to wear it should be something fun and summery, so lets see what everyone was wearing.

Ariana Grande

The stunning singer looked gorgeous in a summery white mini dress and nude heel, she kept it simple and looked stunning.

Cher Lloyd

Feisty Cher looked hot in black shorts and a sheer leather top.

 Chelsea Kane

The Baby Daddy actress went for plain black tank top and a below the knee skirt with red flowers on but come on Chelsea where is your teen spirit, show a little skin.

Ciara Bravo

Ciara looked great in a simple orange skater dress with nude heels, just proof that less is more.

Janel Parrish

The Pretty Little Liars villain was one of my favourite looks of the event, she looked like a Disney princess in a jade satin bra-let and a blue maxi skirt.

Laura Marano

I originally didn't like Laura's outfit the clash of yellow and green was not my thing but It actually grew on me and think the Disney starlet looked great in a cute summer outfit.

Zendaya

Zendaya rocked the carpet in a custom made Material Girl dress, she may not have been may favourite look of the night but she did rock her new haircut.

Italia Ricci

Italia was one of my favourite looks of the night, she looked amazing in metallic heels and a tribal printed jumpsuit with a deep-v she was dead on trend this event.

Vanessa Marano

She attend the event with her sister but they definitely went for different looks, she had a cropped navy top with a floral skirt, I think a look was slight dark but perfect for the event.

Demi Lovato

Demi had one of the biggest performances of the night and she didnt let us down in the fashion department in the off-white dress with cream accents and metalic heels, she looked very classy, come on Demi show us your fun side.

Emily Osment

She is far from her Hannah Montana days now she went for a very summery look in a white body con dress with a colour pop of orange in her shoes, love it.

Hilary Duff

She is back! It's been awhile since we've seen Hilary on the carpet but with a new single coming out Tuesday she came back to the carpet with a bang, in a leather pencil skirt and  red flowered crop top, she sure brought it.

Jennifer Lopez

For 45 she had more teen spirit the most, the star looked amazing in a teal lace dress with matching teal shoes, another favourite of mine.

 Kim Kardashian

Wait a second, Is it me or are we looking at a picture of Kim from like 3 years ago. No this was last night a Kim looked great she had a black long sleeved crop top and a fun zebra skirt that was perfect for the event.

Kylie Jenner

The young reality star, celebrated her birthday at the awards, and went for a classic Kylie look in a crop top and a wrapped print skirt with strappy heels ,now she did look gorgeous but come on Kylie your turning 17 have fun.

Lucy Hale

Lucy went for a bright red satin mini dress and studded heels, now the heels are gorgeous but that v-neck looks a bit too far. Love Lucy anyway.

Nina Dobrev

The sexy vamp looked stunning and matched the blue colour theme with a pop colour of pink in a matching short and top set ,with pink pointed heels. I think she looked summery and fun, that's what the tca are all about after all.

Selena Gomez

The Ultimate Choice Award winner looked amazing in all black, she showed off her stunning sugar and had metallic pointed shoes, Selena had always looked amazing at the tca but for the last two years she has looked more mature and I do love to see the fun side of Selena.

Shay Mitchell

Another star wearing metallic heels, Shay looked hot in this two piece white lace set, she kept it simple. Definitely another favourite look of mine.

Bella Thorne

Ermm....I love Bella and the blue really went with the colour theme, now her dress was gorgeous but that V was a little two deep, other then that her retro dress looked amazing.

 Debby Ryan

She barley looks like her old character Bailey from the Suite Life On Deck, she went for a very formal look and it suited her well, it maybe didn't fit with the fun teen look of the awards but she stilled look great.

Hailee Steinfield

The beautiful 17 teen year old wore a black and pink collar dress with cute black heels and I would have liked to see Hailee wear something a bit more fun but she looked good anyway.

Kendall Jenner

The model looked dazzling in a all white she wore a cowl neck draped top over high waisted tailored pants. Kendall looked like she was at the Oscar, but this is teen awards, have a little fun but I have to say Kendall looked gorgeous.

Lea Michele

Now that's more like it! Lea looked lovely in this colour splash mini dress with silver heels, she kept it plain and showed everyone how the teen choice awards is done.

Sarah Hyland

Not only did she attend but she co-hosted the event and looked spectacular in this dark metallic mini dress and strappy heels. She was another celeb rocking the deep v.

Victoria Justice

Covered up in this white crochet summery dress and looked elegant with silver heels, we would have liked to see her show some more skin but she looked superb anyway.

Now I couldn't talk about everyone but I can't leave out the boys, 

they do get it easier then the girls so where did some of you do wrong. (You know who you are *cough*)

 Recently I have been trying to break out of the routine I have managed to get myself shopping,cinema and then more shopping. I wanted to do something that wouldn't cost money and was nice and relaxing for summer break. I think the best thing to is pick spot that's nice and that you haven't really explored. I have been walking past the lakes in my town for the last four years and I have walked through them many times but not with the intention to just explore and relax, I love the lake I think it's so relaxing, so me and my friends have been going down there and having picnic or just exploring. In the summer its best to not be cooped up inside and instead have fun, relax and make memories with friends.

Beauty UK - Glacier Gloss Review

Beauty UK have launched a new brand of lip glosses. The range is called Glacier Gloss and includes 10 shades to suit everyone. So I recently got in touch with Beauty UK and they agreed to send me two lip glosses from the range, I got the opportunity to pick my shades and that was tough choice they have so many gorgeous shades that are in trend right now, I am usually the outgoing type and love to wear bright colours but recently I have been loving the natural look and went for two light and natural colours.

The Lip-losses when I got them straight out of the package. 

Now I have been looking for a good lip gloss this summer because at the moment I've been going for a more natural look and this summer I don't really wanna wear a heavy lipstick. I have to say the glacier gloss range is a great buy and for being only £2.99. The glosses have a standard doe-foot applicator that makes it easily to apply the sheer gloss, despite the gloss being sheer they are actually very pigmented and last for good few hours, another plus which is always a good thing is that the gloss is not sticky and actually really shiny and have a creamy formula.

1. Peach For The Sky-No.03

I love Peach, and I think make up that is the shade of peach like a blusher or lipstick is so pretty and looks very summery, So when I saw this peach gloss I was immediately drawn to it. See swatches below.

2. Atomic Pink-No.6

I have wanted a classic pink gloss for ages, now don't be fooled by the bright look, it is a sheer lip gloss so it is actually very wearable. It's one of my favourite lip glosses. See swatches below.

My Every Day Make-up Routine.........

Morning...Afternoon...Evening....
Today I'm gonna show you every day make-up routine. I love seeing everyone's makeup routines to see more products and learn some tips, so If you have written a blog post, please leave the link below and I will definitely read. Now the night before I take my make-up off thoroughly,



So the first thing I do is wash my face with Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Scrub....

 Face Scrub

I love the smell of this it's so refreshing, so I wash my face just in case I still have left over make up from the night before and its nice way to wake up. I apply this by wetting my face and then putting a small amount of the scrub into my fingers before rubbing it into my face in a circular motion before washing it off with a flannel.

The next thing I do is moisturise with Illuminating Moisture Lotion with SPF 15 from Sanctuary Spa

Now I prefer moisturisers with Illuminating or glowing properties because I prefer my skin to have a healthy glow during the summer. Now you can get the minis test tube or the larger tube, because I travel a lot in the summer, so I prefer I smaller tube that I can easily through in my bag. I apply this with my fingers before starting my make-up.

After moisturising I then put on a primer. The primer I am currently using is Maybelline New York Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Lightweight Primer...

I apply this with my fingers before foundations. Now on the tube it does say Only For Adults which I did not notice before buying, but so far it hasn't done any harm to me but clearly the sign is there for a reason, however I do recommend you use a primer especially in this heat. A primer is a great way to insure your make-up stays in place.

Here is wear the make-up really begins. My current foundation is the Wake Me Up 

Wake Me Up - Rimmel London
£5.99  Shade: Ivory 100

To apply my foundation I use the real techniques buffing brush, I squirt a small amount onto the back of my hand and dab my brush into the foundation and apply to my face with a circular motion, avoiding the nose to make my make-up look more natural. 

Now onto covering up those pesky spots....

Rimmel Hide The Blemish  £3.99
Shade: Ivory

For covering blemishes and spots I use the Hide The Blemish Concealer from Rimmel London. Now this concealer is perfect because It is not stiff or lipstick like, its creamy and applies well to the skin.

I apply this with my fingers, I think using your fingers is best for concealer especially the ringer finger because it applies less pressure to the skin.

Dark Under Eyes..........

Match Perfection Concealer £5.99
Shade: Ivory

Now this is a liquid concealer that I use to highlight my under eyes, It's from Rimmel London and it from the Match Perfection range. Now I know you shouldn't use a foundation and a concealer that are the same shade, but I'm so pale, there is no lighter shade. To apply this I use the brush attached to tube to draw triangle under my eyes and again I pat it in with my ring finger. 

Just go powder my nose............

Yep..Another Rimmel London product, as you can tell for everyday make-up in the world of a 15 year-old is full of Rimmel but what can I say, Rimmel London is one of the best drugstore brands out there. See I hate the shiny look, to me I just look like im sweating so I like to use a powder, to keep looking not sweaty and keep my make up in place. As you can see this powder is well loved because it has hit the tin (sad face) Now to apply this powder I use my The Vintage Cosmetics Company powder brush.

Dream Sun from Maybelline £6.49
Shade: Golden Tropics

I am in love with this Bronzer&Blush duo from Maybelline. It's so easy to use because its a duo, and save space in my make-up bag when I am on the go. I feel in love with this product from the moment I saw it the colours are so pretty and its fitting that the product is called Dream Sun because this is a summer must have. I use two separate brushed for this, when bronzing I use the Contour Brush from real techniques and the larger face brush from French Connection for the blush.

Shimmering Star.....

Flash Powder - Golden Glow

So this is the only non-drugstore product in my everyday make-up but this gorgeous highlighter from Smashbox I apply a small amount of this under my brow bone using the Real Techniques Detailer Brush and then with the smaller French Connection Brush I brush some across the top of my cheek bones. Now sadly I think this has been discontinued because you can no longer buy it anywhere and I can not remember the price but if your looking for a highlighter then I would recommend the any Soap&Glory highlighter, I own about 3 and all though I don't use them everyday I do love them.

Shine bright..........

Eye Shadow £4.09
Shade: Rose Tint

Do excuse the grubby case, This is my everyday eye shadow so it is well loved. For everyday shadow I often like to change it up but in this heat I don't like to have heavy eye make-up so this Maybelline Eye Shadow from the EYE-STUDIO range. It's a lovely pale pink shimmer that really light and pretty for every day use. I apply this all over my eye lid using the French Connection eye brush.

Eyeliner-Brown

I love eyeliner I have about 20, Its one of the items I could not live with out but lately I have gone for a more natural look by using a brown eyeliner. I am currently using the Umberto Gianni Painted Lady Feliner in Brown, Unfortunately I have not found and eyeliner like this felt tip one, If you now of one please leave a comment below, I am really enjoying using a brown eyeliner. I usually go for a small cat eye and with this eyeliner it is so easy to do.

Flutter Those Lashes......

Mascara £6.99
Shade:Black

Mascara, A girls best friend and worst nightmare when it comes to tears. I am currently using the Scandaleyes Lycra Flex  mascara from Rimmel London. I do know that everyone loves the Maybelline Falsies mascara and I do love that mascara but for me this mascara has such a different formula then others and it make such a difference. I do think the brush is slightly to big but other then that is great.

Time for a bit of lippy...........

Lipstick £7.99
Shade: Macaroon 

To complete my look, I always go for a lipstick but the best one to wear on a daily bases is definitely the Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter, I could go on for days about how nice these are, so moisturising and creamy, with such pretty colours that last for a good few hours. It's a combination of a lipstick and lip balm, so its great, if you don't want to carry loads of lip products around with you, just throw this in your bag.

Brushes............

These are the brushes I use on a daily base and there all labelled so you know what I use them with.

Now the Real Technique brushes (Orange Ones) are from the Core Collection set and are priced at 21.99 for four brushes but they are amazing quality and well worth it. Now sadly the French Connection brushes (Blues Ones) were a gift and have been discontinued. Now lastly the powder brush is from The Vintage Cosmetic Company and priced at £16 for the one brush but it is very good quality.

Comic Con Fashion - Best Dressed Females

Woohoooooooo! Last week was Comic Con and I think we have all had time to calm down from the exclusive previews and gossip. If you didn't know Comic Con is the world's largest and most kick ass annual 4-day nerd fest in sunny San Diego, California featuring comic books, games, arts, movies, and various pop culture. This is where you'll find the hottest actors/actresses as well as the biggest dorks and geeks in the world under one roof. Now if your not into the comic world don't panic because its not all about the comics it has a wide range of celebs all dressed up and today I'm gonna be picking some of my favourite looks.

Chloe Bennet

The stunning 22 year old Chloe Bennet best known for her role as Skye on Marvels Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D attended the event with her cast mates to talk about the shows exciting second season starting September. On the first day Chloe showed of her midriff in a stunning neon pink two piece paired with nude pumps which are definitely a must have for every girls wardrobe when wearing a statement outfit. On her second day of attendance Chloe looked gorgeous in a white body-con dress with cut a slits at the waist paring it with a statement necklace that is so in the year and cute black ankle boots which you can also see her wearing later that day in an outfit that was very similar to her Guardians Of The Galaxy premier look with a a cut out black crop top and a pleated leather skirt Chloe looked like one kick ass agent.

Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev the sexy vampire was there promoting season 6 of The Vampire Diaries which starts October the 2nd this year. Now after the heartbreaking season 5 finale there was a lot to discuss so the vamp kicked it off with a sexy teacher look in a blue leather skirt and a white blouse with cute white and black pumps, Not to mention her sexy waves that she swapped for dead straight long locks on the second day when she rocked little white and blue shorts with a matching top and a colour pop of pink in her cute pointed heels. While in the evening Nina opted for a low pony tail to go with her ruffled black and blue Michael Kors dress and black heels.

Jennifer Morrison

Jennifer joined her cast mates from Once Upon A Time at this years Comic Con as they showed a season four exclusive frozen promo. (Cue everyone mentally singing let it goooooo) Jennifer went for three very classy, that included having her hair up in a milkmaid braid both days. On the first day she looked classic in the red off the shoulder over the knee dress with cheetah heels to give her that extra kick. On her second day she look gorgeous in this pattern no strap dress, with a floral pattern on top and symmetrical pattern on the bottom half she sure brought it. Now in the evening she looked looked again classic in this black cut out bow dress with accents of blue, she finally let her hair down and I must say she looked stunning.

                                               Megan Fox

Now Megan may have only been at Comic Con for one day but her outfit was definitely one for the books. As she promoted the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film she looked smoking in all leather. She teamed a high neck black crop top with a horizontal stripped mini skirt and strappy heels. She also let her brunette locks flow in some light waves and bright lippy.

Kat Graham

I just love Kat not only is she an amazing actress but she also has quite the career in music. She is well known as the resident witch Bonnie on The Vampire Diaries (#savebamon) and attended this years Comic Con to discuss season 5 of TVD and promote the season 6. She looked stunning in the day choosing a matching blue and black top and trouser set with a classic black hill and in the evening she opted for a tight black pencil skirt with a wrap turtle neck crop top and a red pointed heels. She looked elegant keeping her makeup neutral and her classy bob in light waves.

Elizabeth Henstridge

Another Agent Of S.H.I.E.L.D, Elizabeth was like her co-star Chloe Bennet promoting the second season of their hit show Marvel Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D that will start next month. She kicked off the event a Novis outfit with a colour block top half and a light pattern on the bottom half, the outfit clearly speaks for itself, she she wore minimal jewelry and nude heels. On the second day she pulled her hair back into a low sleek pony tail and wore a simple white skater dress and white strappy heels, she looked effortlessly classic. Now in the evening the simple senorita changed her entire look and went for a heavy smokey eye, a high neck black crop top and a skater skirt with a leaf pattern with black pumps, she definitely showed her kick ass agent side.

Cobie Smulders

Cobie looked gorgeous as she promoted next years must anticipated Avengers - Age Of Ultron. She went for the prima ballerina look, starting with a classic bun and a gorgeous black midi dress with lace ruffles at the bottom half of the dress with some cute white pointed heels. She wore minimal eye make-up but added a touch of red lipstick for some glamour. Cobie did attend a second day where she was a sleeveless white blouse with a black leather skirt. However there were limited photos of Cobie's full outfit.

Hayley Atwell

You may now Hayley for the 2010 film Captain America-The First Avenger but this year she attended Comic Con to promote the new TV show Agent Carter that follows her character Peggy Charter after the war as she deals with the war being other and S.H.I.E.L.D must be created. The show is set to air early 2015. She kicked off the event with a simple black dress that went in at the waist, she kept it simple though with a long silver necklace, a simple clutch, eye liner and strappy heels which were plated with black, white and orange. On the second day, she turned it up a notch in a bright blue dress with a red pattern, that I feel like is fish but I'm sure I'm wrong I just can't work it out, she paired the complicated dress with nude heels and simple earrings. In the evening she had a tight updo and an absolutely gorgeous dress that had lace on the top half with a yellow,grey with undertones of silver and black on the skirt half and partially through the top in a floral pattern, she paired with this a yellow clutch and black pumps.

Ming Na-Wen

Now for 50 Ming looks hot! We all know Ming as the kick ass agent Melinda May from Marvels Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D, she kicked off her look in full spirit, really supporting her Marvel family she wore a Marvel tank top and a S.H.I.E.L.D logo necklace with a black mini skirt and black boots that are just above the ankle. On her second day she wore her hair curly with a black of the shoulder body-con dress or LBD if you will, which is a must have classic for every girl and perfect for Comic Con. In the evening Ming went for a grey dress with silver straps and black strappy heels, she wore her hair up and looked gorgeous.
