Weekly Favourites

Hey Guys, I have some new blog posts coming next week but right now I thought I would give you a small post on some of my weekly favourites......

Music:
There is two songs I have been loving this week.
1. Hilary Duff - All About You
Hilary is long from her Disney days but this month she has made her comeback with two new singles, now her first single Chasing The Sun made everyone question if she had been away from the business two long but on Tuesday she released All About You and I love it, It is being compared with a mix of Taylor Swift but I definitely can tell the difference and I cant wait to hear the rest of her album.
Favourite Lyric:
I don't wanna keep a secret
(No no no more)
This is more than just a little thing, baby
(For sure)

2. R5- Easy Love

As a big fan of R5 I was very excited for their new EP after hearing Heart Made Up On You. The pop-rock group have definitely changed things up with their latest EP. I love their new song Easy Love, it's definitely a song to dance to around to in the kitchen, It's all about relationships getting hard but loving that person anyway which is true in everyone case unless your a Disney princess.
Favourite Lyric:
Lovin' you ain't easy
Nothin' ever is
But I will keep on fightin'
For a love like this
You know I wouldn't have it
Any other way
Even when times get tough
I don't want no easy love

Makeup:
Once again I have two

                                              Bourjois Delice De Poudre Highlighter

Now because I am doing this blog post quickly at quarter to nine, I haven't actually had time to photograph                                                           them so I got the pictures online.
£7.99
The first thing is the  Bourjois Delice De Poudre Highlighter, I don't always contour, especially in the summer when it's hot and I don't want heavy make-up but I do love contouring, now I'm a huge fan of the sleek contour set because It's good quality and value for money but I'm also a fan of the bronzers from Bourjois so when I this contour kit together, I was so excited and Immediately bought it I haven't used it much but I will review it soon.

Maybelline Big Eyes Eyeliner White & Black

£4.99
I was intrigued by the advert on TV, I always think my eyes look small and hate having to pile on mascara to make them stand out but I love eyeliners so this seemed to be the perfect solution. You put the black on your top lash line and the white in your water line. I have only used it once before and to be honest the white really stood out, It worked but if I was to re-purchase I would go for the Beige/Black liner because it would be less bold.

TV:
I'm obsessed with TV shows Netflix has ruined me I watch hundreds (I will do a blog post on TV shows) but this week I have loved
                                                                      Orphan Black
It's so complicated I could never begin to tell you what happens but It definitely gets you hooked and wanting answers, It honestly has a bit of everyone and definitely has a character you can relate too, there are some points like the first 30 seconds were you think this is too gruesome for me but it's honestly not so don't panic when you see the first minute and automatically think it's not for you. I don't wanna say too much but it focuses around a streetwise con-artist who witness the suicide of a women who looks exactly like her, she then take the deceased doppelgänger I.D as her life's seems great and she need some cash quick but soon realises the doppelgänger life isn't as it seemed and now she is too far into walk away.

Film:
Inbetweeners 2

So if your not from the UK you may not be a big a fan or ever heard of the inbetweeners, now I know America has their own version of it but here the inbetweeners is a big thing here and they have just relased the second film following the 3 season. In my opinion is what also funnier then the first one but that just my opinion and it could be because I'm older and just notice and understand things more, I would really recommend you go see this if your fan it is so funny.

Book:
Last Summer by Rebecca A.Rogers
Now this is not a book I read this week, I actually read it a while back but have been re-reading it this week and have falling in love with this romance novel all over again, It follows the life of Chloe Sullivan a teenage who's life has slowly been falling apart over the last six months when her parents make one last trip to their holiday home at Sandy Shores and Logan Andrews who is hiding out out in one of Chloe's childhood hangouts after his parents kicked him out when he refused to go to rehab for his drug addiction and is now hiding from murdering drug dealers. When these opposites attracts will they be able to help each other out of their own personal hells or will Logan's past catch up to them.

Random:
I have three random items this week, they could all have their own category but I didn't think they deserved a whole category for themselves
App: Kim Kardashian: Hollywood
When this came out it didn't appeal to me at all because I'm not a gamer I'm jut not interested I never grew up playing Sims and I could happily live with all my devices having no game apps on them but all my friends wee raving about this app, so i downloaded it to see what the fuss is about and I must agree it is quite addictive and very time consuming, and all though the app is free if your gonna get somewhere in it your gonna have to start paying for I think I paid 4 pounds the other day just for some energy to get me through a party, but money aside the game is actually really fun and the graphics are great.

Impress Nails
£5.99
Now this is not the first time I have been using impress on nails, I have been using them for about a year and they are amazing, they come in so many different colours and styles, they're easy to apply, they last for such a long time. I would recommend them to anyone they are so worth the value. I am currently wearing the shade Ecstatic Cling which is a bright pink and great for summer.

Johnson's Make-up Be Gone Wipes
£3.05
I know not everyone likes to use wipes to remove their make-up but I don't either but I still like to have wipes to remove makeup if I go wrong or swatches and the best wipe I find are the Johnson's once, there used to be just three kinds but now they have added two more and the wide range makes it hard to pick they all have different jobs, I usually but the Refreshing Wipes for normal skin but I'm trying the Clear Skin Wipes for Combination skin because I think they will suit me better at the moment.

Thanks For Reading!

  1. I quite like the sound of the Hillary Duff song, I went to see her in concert when I was younger :P
Inbetweeners movie 2 was hilarious, I actually found that the first one was funnier though :/
